You Need Jesus

You Need Jesus

God loves you. He freely offers you salvation, purpose & eternal life—a living relationship with Him. The question however, is will you accept what He offers?

Let’s look at the problem, & why you need Jesus.

1. You have a past

Scripture states clearly everyone in the world is guilty of sin – that includes you & me. Romans 3:23 says: ‘For all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God.’

2. Sin has its price

Romans 6:23 tells us: ‘For the wages of sin is death.’ The wages of work is money, but the wages of sin is death. Death means separation from God forever. But there is good news.

3. Christ paid for your sin

Even though we’re sinners, Christ loves us so much He died in our place to pay for our sin. ‘But God demonstrated His own love for us in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.’ (Romans 5:8)

4. You must believe

To become a Christian & have assurance of eternal life you must repent of your sin & put your faith in Jesus. This is a personal decision only you can make.

Romans 10:9 says: ‘If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, & believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.’ The word ‘believe’ here means to entrust your life completely over to Jesus Christ. That’s real faith! Entrusting & submitting to the Lordship of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, by which you will receive eternal life in Him.

If you’d like to begin a personal relationship with Jesus today, please pray this prayer:

‘Dear Lord Jesus, I believe You died for me & that Your blood paid for my sins. Please forgive me for my sin. I entrust my life over to you as Lord. Thank You for dying for me, forgiving my sin & giving me the gift of eternal life. I turn away from sin today & submit to You as my Lord & Saviour. Lead & guide me in Your way, Amen.’

You have just made an important & very wise decision. We encourage you to now contact your local Christian church for regular, ongoing fellowship & discipling.

If you would like further prayer, now or in the future, please contact us. We’d love to hear the story behind your transformation.

Assurance of Salvation

1 John 5:11-12 tells us there are two groups of people. ‘He who has the Son has life’ & ‘He who does not have the Son of God does not have Life’.

Because you have prayed & believed in the Son you have life!
